This third release by LVLZ label head Gabriel Palomo brings another diverse set of tracks to impact dancefloors from Chicago and beyond. Reminiscent of Palomo’s teen years as a b-boy breaker, "Violet Gemz" is inspired from hours of watching jaw-dropping videos of Chicago footwork crews battling it out to the even crazier sounds of this scene’s sped up jungle beats syncopated to the max. Layered over with a twitchy static electric ambient sound, we hope to see this track cross over into the urban underground. The second track, "Violet", continues with the static undertone, but is a driving floor stomper with a hooky cadence that will have dancefloor minds descending into maddening head shaking. And for all you techno vatos out there, this EP closes out with the dark and dirty "El Sucio". Put this one in your bin of “chuggers”.
